==Layout==
===1st Floor: Cellar and Prison===
In the cellar you will find a treasure room, a lot of storage and supplies, and a prison cell where many landlubber hostages have starved and died. The cellar can be accessed via a stairway behind the bar, or by friends of the house through a hidden door.

===2nd Floor: Tavern===
This is the official meeting place of pirates and outlaws of Britannia. A barkeep offers beverages around the clock, making sure the scoundrels are well-tempered and not too thirsty.

===3rd Floor: Library and Inn===
A narrow staircase leads up to the top storey of the building. Two little huts have been placed up here; one containing a chamber for rest, the other containing a library with chronicles of past pirate events, as well as the Three Pirate Quests - a collection of tasks which any real pirate should be able to perform.

== Vicinity ==
Around the Jolly Roger Inn, several other pirate buildings form the infamous pirate village. Next door to the pirate headquarter, a Black Market has been built. This is the place where in-game trading will happen on every first Saturday of the month, where pirates and other people can sell their wares and contraband. Also, tournaments are regularly held in the neighborhood.

== History ==

The United Pirates [UP] was the first pirate guild in Ultima Online ever. It was founded in July 1998 on the Catskills shard by Hawkeye Pike and Hook. The guild stone was placed inside Hook's tent at the coastline east of Vesper. (At that time you had to place a guild stone if you wanted to create a guild. Tents were the cheapest way of player housing. A tent contained one strongbox accessible to the owner.)

The pirate life proved to be a lot of fun. More and more members joined the crew. In November 1998, the United Pirates acquired a good real estate at the beach of a bay east of Vesper (which later was on the Felucca facet). This allowed them to finally build a big tavern as headquarters, and it was named The Jolly Roger Inn. (In the beginning, items could not even be locked down in houses. Crafting new furniture was a daily business.) A lot of events were regularly held there, like treasure hunts, duels, fight nights, sailing contests and gambling nights.

But the times changed. Somewhen in 2002, the crew of the United Pirates slowly disbanded. Many pirates had vanished, never to be seen again. Even the Jolly Roger Inn was finally lost. Britannia became a safe and peaceful place again, for a couple of years.

In December 2007, Hawkeye Pike was washed ashore again in Vesper. After 6 years he had finally returned to Britannia. In March 2008, he decided to try and re-unite the pirates of Catskills once more. Hawkeye reestablished the brethren of pirates to pillage towns, mug landlubbers and conquer the sea. He built the Jolly Roger Inn at a perfect location: The sandy beach of a small lagoon south of Trinsic. Other pirates soon settled in this area, which became the village of the United Pirates.

Welcome to the Bloody Brew Tavern.  We named the tavern in honor of one of our members, Pleb --- who hails from the U.K. --- and we make him say "Bloody Hell" in Ventrilo; a small price to pay (hehe).  It also happens to be a befitting title for what we as a guild enjoy to Role Play.  The tavern is open to "members only" on Monday nights and to all RP'ers on Thursdays nights.  It is located in the heart of our player-ran city, Vamp's Lair.

DAYS OF OPERATION
Thursdays, 9 PM to 11 PM EST --- Open to all RP'ers of the shard serving a wide variety of imported liquors as well as Olympus Rum and our own private labels --- Pandora's Perfect Pinot Noir and Lair's Red Mist.  Vampires can order speciality brews, mixed by our half-breeds with their talent "Mixology", that contain a variety of blood pathogens from different sources --- from dark elves to the rare AB- typed blood imported from Earth.

STAFF
Edwin McCormick is the resident barkeep.  He is friendly, yet quiet.  A good listener. He has been with the coven for a few years now, having been born in the city of Umbra and made a vampire with the destruction and befallment of that city.  He is grateful to the leaders of the Children for helping to re-build his home town and the teachings that they have provided those that were abruptly turned. He maintains the bar open the other nights of the week for any would-be traveller.  He employs the other staff members.  

Aliana Sudhiir is the latest addition to the tavern.  She is an elven vampire, made a night child over 400 years ago prior to the return of the coven to the land of Sosaria.  She has an affinity for exotic wines and liquors. As such, through the years she has accustomed her vampiric body to the drinks of mortals.
