A horrific figure, garbed in heavy shadowlord hued ritualistic garb. Shadow-plate boots, gauntlets and a gorget are the only visible armor. Strange Stygian engravings can be seen on the hem-line of his cloak and around the sleeve-openings of his robe. A large carving of a Skull, made of Ebon is emblazoned into the very center of his chest. His head is a skull twisted an expression of perpetual hateful loathing and two swirling vortexes of green-energy compose his eyes. The Spell Book of the Lich-Lord Nizar is greedily clutched in the grip of his gauntlets and held close to chest. The Lich Lord speaks in a seemingly whisper, while audible to all around him, in what seems to be several voices of varying pitches and genders speaking in calm unison.

By use of the Veil of Deception (a plate chest-piece crafted by Bailos) The Lich Lord is able to take on the guise of a slender human male no older then his late 20s. Slightly elfin features, perfectly kept short jet-black hair, two bright green eyes and a very pale skin-tone unnaturally free of blemish is all that can be seen of the actual naked body. The face and features resemble that of a mortal Darrien Church sculpted to such a point of perfection that he resembles a painting or sculpture more then a living human. In this form Darrien Church tends to dress for far more versatile and provocative activity, decked in, in some cases, form-fitting leather armor, high-thigh boots, a common mage's  hat cocked to one side and a long silk cloak draped around his back and over his left arm who's collar seems to be composed of long black feathers. His voice is that of a young male and his accent dated by about a century reflecting his true age.

'''Family Origin'''

The Church family arrived to Britain from Ne'Sveti controlled Magincia in the era when the King still ruled from Castle Britannia and the division of the facets had not yet taken place. Their physical appearance and slight accent hint that the line may originate from the Ne'Sveti's native Kos Heb. The Family's true surname is "Radisnov" but, their noble manor being nearly touching the property that the now ruined Church of the Virtues rests on, and their actual name being overly complicated the locals began to refer to the land as simply the Church Estate and the family as the Church family. Darrien's father would later adopt this as their actual surname in an effort to distance the family from the Ne'Sveti.


'''Youth'''

Born the third of five children and the second boy, Darrien received a classical private education, focusing on literature, philosophy, oratory skills, mathematics and the arts at the family's estate with his siblings under various tutors. Upon reaching age thirteen he was sent to the Moonglow Lycuem to begin an education in Magic. Quiet, aloof, terribly arrogant and mostly immersed in his studies Darrien did quiet well, finishing nearly at the top of his graduating class with a specialization in illusionary-magics and physical manipulation at the age of nineteen. He met in his final year, his would-be bride, Elizabeth M'real of Trinsic, niece to the paladin Tay M'real. They married in Trinsic three months after Darrien's completion of studies and relocated to a small yet affluent home on Verity Island. Darrien Church then began a professorship at the Lyceum.
