A strange sight yesterday morning greeted the eyes of the mate in the crow's nest of the H.M.S. Winterjewel, bound for Vesper. The sinking wreckage of a ship, the sails aflame. Coming alongside, the captain sent some men over to investigate. They found a few bodies, charred beyond recognition, and signs that a horrific battle took place.

Unfortunately, the ship was rapidly sinking, and with no way to stop it, the captain was forced to abandon any searches for further clues. But the questions remain of who or what could have done such to a large sailing ship...

The Maritime Guild could not be reached for comment at this time.
