[[File:Taxidermy_kit.png]]  '''Taxidermy Kits''' allow [[player]]s to use corpses of certain creatures to create trophy [[House Addon]] deeds. Only [[Carpentry|Carpenters]] with at least 90.1 skill can use or buy the kit, as those without master or grandmaster status in the skill cannot figure out it's workings. 

They are found on [[NPC]] Tanners, usually within "leather and hide" shops. They average around 90,000 [[gold]] to purchase (assuming you're buying in [[Felucca]], where prices tend to be far cheaper).

The player will need the following items to create a trophy:

* Taxidermy Kit
* 10 [[Board]]s
* Corpse of one of the following:
**[[Orc monster|Orc]]
**[[Gorilla]]
**[[Troll]]
**[[Brown Bear]]
**[[Polar Bear]]
**[[Great Hart]]
**[[Fish|Big Fish]] (Note that if stacked with other fish they will not be usable by the taxidermy kit.)

[[Ultima Online: High Seas]] booster pack introduced new rare [[Fish]] types that can be turned into a trophy:

**[[Fish#Legendary Fish|Legendary Fish]]

If your character has the appropriate carpentry skill and materials, double-clicking a taxidermy kit will give you a targeting cursor. This cursor must be targeted on the corpse of the creature intended to be the trophy. You must have looting rights to the corpse in order to process it. The taxidermy kit will disappear upon successful usage, and a deed for the resulting trophy will be placed within your pack.

Note that unlike most other craftables, assuming you have the required skill and components, there is no chance of failure. Rules for placing the item in a [[House]] are the same as for any other [[House Addon|Addon]].

One other trophy, the [[Dragon Head]], was introduced as part of the [[Spring Cleaning 2008]] event and is still available as part of the [[Clean Up Britannia 2011]] event. Taxidermy Kits cannot be used on [[Dragon]]s to produce trophy deeds.
