Site Going Inactive
I wanted to start UOGuide a couple weeks ago because there was no site that was trying to maintain current information. Then we had an unfortunate issue which took about 2 weeks to resolve. Just as the whole thing is about to get going again, UOStuff.com announces they are suddenly going to expand into all UO information.
I am extremely annoyed that I spent my time, money, and effort to create this site only to have another site start competing with us. UOStuff had been virtually inactive for months and the administrator was no where to be found. Then he all of a sudden he decides to move ahead with a grand upgrade. UOStuff never even completed it's original goal of documenting all UO:ML expansion information. I have been there a couple times and been fustrated that something was missing.
Anyway, since I don't see the point in having 2 competing sites, I won't be updating UOGuide for the time being. I don't recommend anyone do so either. I wish all the luck to UOStuff and hope the administrator does not disappear again.
