Mystic refers to one of three types of weapons: Power; Vanquishing; and Mystic. Mystic is the most powerful of the three. Mystic weapons will have that word, in yellow, on the top line of the tool tips. All three weapon types were looted off of monsters killed during the Britain, Ophidian and Magincia Invasions. During the Ophidian and Magincia invasions, Mystic weapons were the only effective means to damage Berserkers.
Power, Vanquishing, and Mystic weapons have a long history in UO. The vestigial skill Item Identification was once the only way to discern such weapons.
