Normal containers that have not been locked down in a house have a capacity of 400 stones. A [[character]]'s [[Backpack]] may hold 550 stones. [[Human]]s may carry 60 more stones then [[Elves]].
  
Once read by the GM Miner the book is destroyed as it is a one use item. However, learning this new skill does not require any additional skill points nor affect skill cap. The skill allows a GM Miner to also mine for stone. To mine for stone as well as ore the miner must left click his/her pick or shovel and toggle the selection: '''[[Mining]]: Ore and Stone''' from the menu.

Once mined, a GM [[Carpenter]] who has read the book (also from Gargoyle City) entitled "Making Valuables with Stonecrafing" may use the stone to make tables, statues, vases, [[elven forge]]s.  A Mallet and Chisel is required to craft with stone.  This is also available from the Stonecrafter NPC.
