Phoenix Armor is a legacy Item Set and was only obtainable as a reward option from the 1999 Clean Up Britannia event. There were six pieces to the set and each piece cost 100,000 points and was randomly selected when requested as a reward. Not only was the cost in points extremely high but getting a complete set together was very difficult. The armor pieces never spawned as loot on phoenixes.
Unlike other Item Sets there is no additional benefit when wearing a complete set of Phoenix Armor although the pieces are Blessed.
A complete set of Phoenix Armor consists of:
- A Nose Helm of the Phoenix
- A Ringmail Tunic of the Phoenix
- Studded Gorget of the Phoenix
- Ringmail Gloves of the Phoenix
- Ringmail Leggings of the Phoenix
- Ringmail Sleeves of the Phoenix
In 2004, an EM event was held on Japanese shards in which the helm piece was made available to players as a prize(need more info/clarification on this).
