Righteous Anger is a redish Elven Machete that is classified as a Mondain's Legacy Minor Artifact. Introduced in August 2005, it drops in the same style as artifacts associated with the Paragon System, but only in certain Mondain's Legacy Dungeons.
Spawning of the Artifact
All of the Named Monsters located in the nine Mondain’s Legacy Dungeons spawn Mondain's Legacy Minor Artifacts (Marties), including the Righteous Anger. Examples of such monsters include Coil, Swoop, Miasma, and Gnaw. The Righteous Anger, along with the other Mondain's Legacy "minors," spawns in a character's backpack. The items, however (including the Righteous Anger), can also be found in the corpses of the Peerless monsters.
Market
Simply put, the market for the Righteous Anger is soft. Examples of the sword have been seen selling for 1,000 gold. This is likely due to the weapon's lack of properties that specifically related to Player vs. Player combat (such as Hit Lower Attack, among others). However, as the Righteous Anger has a Swing Speed Increase intensity that is over the standard cap of 30%, and Hit Chance Increase that is at maximum intensity, not to mention a generous Damage Increase and a small amount of Defense Chance Increase, it is a weapon that should be considered when establishing a Swords warrior.
Notes
- Unlike Doom artifacts, there are no Cursed Mondain's Legacy Minor Artifacts, Righteous Anger included.
