The Blackrock Detector Event Set spawned during the Mad Mage event, wherein a device made to detect Blackrock instead opened a portal to the Ethereal Void, pulling the Shadowlords through into Sosaria, and opened up a dungeon which looked an awful lot like the City of Moonglow.

In this new dungeon, creatures resembling Ethereal Warriors called Fallen Warriors spawned, and on them were Planeshields and Planeswords. As of the time of writing, they are not yet an Item Set as properly defined, because the use of a Planesword and a Planeshield together has no visible effect beyond what each item has separately. (The concept of an Item Set is that the items when used together have an impact beyond the sum of their parts.)

However, animal tamers have been seen wielding the Set, seemingly for looks.

Each item has the Spell Channeling property, and they are a distinctive color.
