This item, when swung at any mounted foe, will remove them from their steed and prevent them from remounting for a few seconds. It is particulary effective against players riding Ethereal Mounts, as these are difficult to re-summon while in the heat of combat.
In order to swing a bola you must already be on foot, and after swinging you will also be unable to remount for a short period. They are commonly used by characters with high levels of the Stealthing skill.
Once used the bola will fall to the ground, where any character may pick it up. They weigh four stones each and previously could not be stacked but now can be stacked.
