The Thread of Thought is an item that is acquired by casting Exorcism on Forsaken Souls in Magincia. The items will randomly drop directly into your backpack. Companion to the Thread of Life and Thread of Fate (which were introduced prior to the introduction of Forsaken Souls), it's proper use is at the time of writing is unclear.
Currently:
- The Thread of Thought is a quest item that can be redeemed for rubble furniture. The name of this quest is Threads of Thought and the quest giver is located near the ruined Magincia moongate, both in Trammel and Felucca.
- The Thread of Thought is a quest item that can be redeemed with a Cloak of Corruption for a Cloak Of Power. The name of this quest is Strangers Bearing Gifts - Power and the quest giver, Anthony the Seer, is located in front of The Lycaeum on Moonglow Isle in Tram and Fel.
Speaking Thread
Characters with Spirit Speak can hear a special message from each thread by double-clicking it. Most give a different message and only those with the same phrase will stack. Here are messages heard from the Thread of Thought:
- "You take a moment to reflect upon the past, and find it leads you to a solution in the present."
There should be more messages to be listed
The Thread of Life and Thread of Fate make different statements.
