Cycle Progression Barks:
- The land stirs, but the evil remains distant.
- Faint whispers of darkness echo beneath the surface.
- The ground trembles as the presence of evil grows stronger.
- A shadow looms over the land, hearlding the coming of great darkness.
- The air crackles with dread - the Manifestation of Evil is imminent!
- The Ground ruptures and darkness spills forth... the Manifestation of Evil has begun to pierce the vale near...
The facet and coordinates where MoE will appear are included in the final "The Ground ruptures..." message. Progress towards summoning MoE can be made in Felucca, but MoE cannot be summoned from a Felucca map. Felucca maps can be used to complete the entire summoning cycle, but MoE will not appear until a non-Felucca facet map / chest is completed. A map / chest seems to be "completed" and progress towards the summoning cycle credited, when Remove Trap is completed on the chest.
Once "the ground ruptures..." message appears, a pulsating beacon will appear every 10 seconds above the final chest used to summon MoE. MoE will appear five minutes after the final message and beacon appear.
On first appearance, MoE will shout "BEHOLD MY POWER! YOU SHALL NEVER DEFEAT ME!" and will be invulnerable (yellow) for approximately 1 minute. This is a good time to get MoE's health bar. After a minute, a series of explosions will detonate, centered on MoE, and MoE will become red and be vulnerable to attack.
Tactics
The Manifestation of Evil summons Daemon Portals which allow Shadow Reaver reinforcements to enter the battle. Daemon Portals can be attacked and destroyed, reducing the amount of spawn and making the fight easier. Even after the Manifestation of Evil is killed, the portals remain and Shadow Reavers will continue arrive through the portals. The portals must be destroyed before a new cycle of the Manifestation of Evil may begin.New Tamable
Shadow Hounds occasionally arrive through the Daemon Portals as well. These new tamables are only available during this event.
