This last point is in contention, as many have observed a much higher chance to have the second swing attempt parried. (Many recommend Armor Ignore as an alternative, since the damage yield is similar to two successful swings).
There is a -10% damage penalty for this special move.
Mana Cost: 30 (subject to Lower Mana Cost modification).
Primary Weapons
Weapons with a primary ability of Armor Ignore require 70 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill.
- Repeating Crossbow;
- Double Bladed Staff;
- Quarterstaff;
- 2-Handed Axe;
- Crescent Blade;
- Double Axe;
- Katana;
- Pick Axe; and
- Scimitar.
Secondary Weapons
Weapons with a secondary ability of Armor Ignore require 90 or higher in the appropriate fighting skill.
Surprisingly, Double Strike is not a Secondary Special Move on any weapon.
