I think that the term useless is rather bias for a general information page. First of all, useless is in the eye of the beholder. Begging is nothing glamorous. Taste Identification does what it claims, taste stuff. I think either Miscellaneous or another heading would be more appropriate. - JC the Builder 06:15, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

I have to agree.  Miscellaneous sounds great, or Niche perhaps.  The readers can decided for themselves how useful a skill is. --Solborn 07:23, 21 November 2008 (UTC)

In this case, should we also rename the Useless Skill page? Though I do personally feel that the skills it lists only serve in a "role playing" capacity, and hence should be presented as something new players shouldn't waste their time on.

: A page that lists skills viewed as useless is fine in my opinion. But the Skills pages is supposed to be a general list, not judge how useful something is. - JC the Builder 03:37, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

I think this page could use a sort explanation of how reducing a trained (untraning?) skill works. I have not been able to find any information about it, so putting a short explanation in here somewhere might be nice. Perhaps a general explanation about the skill system, including 'untraining'. --Solborn 21:41, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

In short, you bring up the skills display, and click the arrows next to the skills there. When pointing down, that skill will be able to "untrain". To do this you must be at your skill cap (about 700 depending on character age), then just train any other skill upwards.

Another method is to dump the points into a soul stone.

I've always felt that this page needed a little more information on skills in general in addition to the list of skills. Sort of like Britannia News Network is structured, except perhaps with the "List of Skills" section a little bit higher on the page. --Cogniac 23:12, 19 November 2008 (UTC)

Bardic vs. Musical

I would think Bardic would be more apt than Musical as a descriptor of that set of skills and is often the general term applied to them in MMO/RP gaming settings, similar to "Rogue" over simply "Thief", but that's my two electrum pieces --Tancred RedStar 02:52, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

Useless is rather judgemental

I think that the term useless is rather bias for a general information page. First of all, useless is in the eye of the beholder. Begging is nothing glamorous. Taste Identification does what it claims, taste stuff. I think either Miscellaneous or another heading would be more appropriate. - JC the Builder 06:15, 20 November 2008 (UTC)
