Humans are just one of the many races of Ultima Online. Until the Mondain's Legacy expansion, they were the only playable race. Afterwards, Elves became the second.
Contents
Quests
You can change races by completing in-game quests. They may be done an unlimited number of times.

- Human to Elf - Complete the trials of the Elven Heritage Quest
Racial Traits
Lore
The re-introduction of the Elves has brought to light special racial abilities that only the humans possess. These abilities will help the humans help defend their homeland of Sosaria from the twisted evil unleashed with Mondain’s Legacy.
Strong Back
Humans have an increased carrying capacity above what is determined by their strength.
|
Tough
Humans regenerate hit points faster than normal. |
Workhorse
Humans have a better chance at finding more resources while gathering hides, ore and lumber. |
Jack of all Trades
Humans have a basic ability in all skills, even untrained ones.
Note - As of Publish 64, it no longer contributes towards mana discounts on Special Moves. If players do not have 200 or more modified points in various combat skills (Swordsmanship, Mace Fighting, Fencing, Archery, Throwing, Parry, Lumberjacking, Stealth, Poisoning, Bushido, and Ninjitsu), their special moves will use the full mana cost. |
