Overview
Mysticism is a body of magic first used by the Gargoyle Race. It is scheduled to be available with the release of Ultima Online: Stygian Abyss and learnable by all races, not just gargoyles. Similar to Magery and Necromancy, Mysticism will have it's own unique set of magic spells and practitioners will have the professional title of Mystic.
Spells
Only a few of the 16 Mysticism spells have been announced:
- Purge Magic - Removes one beneficial buff from target.
- Enchant - Temporarily imbues a weapon with a hit spell effect(i.e. Fireball or Lightning).
- Animated Weapon - Conjures and animates a weapon to attack nearby foes.
- Stone Form - Infuses the caster with solid stone, making them slow to move and fight. Also makes the caster highly resistant to physical attacks, curses, poisons and "crowd control" magics.
- Spell Trigger - Stores one Mysticism spell of the caster's choice in a special spell object which can later be triggered when the caster uses the item.
