Emilio NPC.jpg

Emilio the Tortured Artist is an NPC quest giver. The quest is multi-part with a reward that can only be earned once per character, namely Bleach.

Found in the City of Britain

Quest Title Details Reward
Unfading Memories Obtain 1 Prismatic Amber from Prism of Light Bleach

Emilio can be found in The Artists' Guild, which is closest building due North of the West Britain Bank.

Part 1

He requests that you locate and return to him some "Prismatic Amber," this can be found in the Prism of Light dungeon on the north side of Nujel'm island.

Pay the 10,000 gp to Lefty the Ticket Seller and enter. Proceed to the end of the cave until you get to the 2 holes. Take the left hole down and you will see an amber colored crystal. Double click this crystal to gather some into your backpack. The fastest way out of the Prism of Light is the Help, My Character Is Physically Stuck option with Britian as the selected location.

Return to Emilio. Surprisingly, the amber comes pre-marked as a quest item. So all you have to do is double click on Emilio.

Part 2

He now wants you to deliver a "Portrait Of the Bride" to Thalia the Bride, his love in Nu'jelm. The painting is No-Drop/No-Trade. However, there are extremely rare examples of this quest item that do not have the No-Drop/No-Trade item property.

Accept the portrait and proceed to Nu'jelm. Thalia can be found in the Palace of Nu'jelm on the West side of town.

She now has you deliver a "Bride's Letter" to Emilio. Like the painting, there are rare examples where the letter (a scroll, actually) does not have the No-Drop/No-Trade item property.

Return to him and give him the letter. Your quest is now complete and Emilio gives you a bottle of Bleach instead of using it to destroy his paintings.

Reward

The bleach acts the same as the mini-artifact "Pigments Of Tokuno" and comes with 10 charges. Actually, it's more like the reverse of the "pigments of Tokuno" because it removes color from an item. Barbed leather becomes plain leather color, valorite armor becomes iron armor color, etc.
