One of the more imposing types of protection, Gargish Platemail Armor weighes a lot and prevents a character from actively meditating. A lot of strength is required to wear Gargish plate, and it virtually eliminates even the sneakiest character's ability to stealth.

Base Properties

All types of armor in a given set come with the same basic resists. For example, Gargish platemail leggings provide exactly the same level of protection as a Gargish platemail chest. Armor that is exceptionally crafted will receive a bonus that is further boosted by your character's Arms Lore skill, while Runic Tools can be used to send the total resistance level far higher.

Some forms of armor are "medable", meaning they do not affect your use of the meditation skill when worn. Gargish armor can only be worn Gargoyle players, but since there are fewer pieces to a complete set, they each have slightly higher resistances than other individual of pieces armor for non-Gargoyles.

Individual Properties

Gargish Plate is crafted by blacksmiths, and can be recycled using a Salvage Bag or smith tool. To perform either action your character must be standing near an anvil and forge. Smelting provides a better return if you have a high level of mining.

Parts retain the color of the material from which they are made. Crafted versions can have their durability increased, via Powder of Fortifying, to a maximum of 255 and can be dyed with Pigments of Tokuno. If crafted exceptionally by a GM+ crafter they can hold their maker's mark.
