This page deals with generic information concerning all forms of Bone Armor. See here for the specific Bone Armor item.
Bone Armor is the perfect get up for the evil inclined. Though somewhat aggravating to craft due to the requirement of bones in addition to leather, it's actually a fairly light-weight form of armor and offers above average resistances. Bulk Order Deeds that require making Bone Armor are considered important, and making Bone Armor is sometimes considered important for gaining in the Tailoring skill.
Bone Armor was, in the first few years of UO, fairly rare and sought after for the way it offered good protection without a Dexterity penalty. Due mostly to its "evil" appearance, it was associated with Player Killers.
There is one known Bone Armor Item Set, the Monstrous Interred Grizzle Armor Set.
Base Properties
All types of armor in a given set come with the same basic resists. For example, a leather gorget provides exactly the same level of protection as a leather tunic. Armor that is exceptionally crafted will receive a bonus that is further boosted by your character's Arms Lore skill, while Runic Tools can be used to send the total resistance level far higher.
Some forms of armor are "medable", meaning they do not affect your use of the meditation skill when worn. Elven armor can only be worn elves.
