Abscess is a powerful named Hydra that can be found in Blighted Grove. Beware of his 5-target Breath attack. If you are visible and he is high health, you will die.
Located in the south east corner of the Blighted Grove, Abscess is one of the nastiest of the ML monsters. This creature has a breath attack that is HP based; the lower its health, the weaker it will hit you. As a multiheaded creature, each head breathes a different damage type at up to 5 separate targets. At full health, Abscess' breath attack is quite lethal, usually dealing a 1 hit kill. Do not attempt to melee this one you will leave as a ghost. Both energy based attacks and discord appear to work best against this baddie.
