Blowpipe
Template:CraftingMenu

Glassblowing is a skill that can only be learned by Grandmaster Alchemists. Learning the art of glassblowing does not cost any skill points, and has no effect on a character's skill cap.

To learn how to craft glass an Alchemist must read the book "Crafting Glass with Glassblowing," which can be purchased from Gargoyle Alchemists located the Gargoyle city of Ver Lor Reg in Central Ilshenar. The book costs about 10,000 gold and is destroyed once read by a Grandmaster Alchemist.

To create glass items, you need the resource sand and a tool called a "Blowpipe." Sand is obtained by miners. Blowpipes can be purchased from Gargoyle NPCs for a few gold pieces. They wear out, just like pickaxes and shovels. A glassblower must be near a forge to craft glass items.

Notes

  • Some glass items created by glassblowers can be changed in color by using an Interior Decorator tool on them.
  • Glassblown items do not carry a maker's mark.
