North of the Sacrifice Shrine Moongate lies the Meer town of Lakeshire. While there are shops and inns, there are no NPC vendors in Lakeshire. (However, there is a Gypsy bank located on the road just South-East of town.)

Considered by some to be a collection of buildings rather than a town per se, it is located in the Ilshenar facet. The NPC Jelrice can be found in the apple orchard at the south end of town. She offers the Runaways! quest.

It is occupied by the Meer, a race which will not attack positive Karma Player Characters (PCs). PCs also lose Karma when killing a Meer.
