World Maps and sea charts can have courses plotted on them by opening the map and clicking the "plot course" button on the top. After plotting a course, you can drag and drop the map on a boat's tiller man and he will remember the course. By issuing the command START your tiller man will automatically drive the boat to each point in order. If you need to stop with the stop command, you can issue the command NAV followed by the point you wish to travel to.

Maps are single stone, unstackable items that usually point to a given location in either Trammel or Felucca.

Cartographers can draw charts of the regions around them using the blank or pre-drawn maps sold by NPC Mapmaker Vendors.

Treasure Maps can be looted from certain Monsters. These lead to buried treasure.
