The Underworld is a Dungeon, which appeared with the Stygian Abyss expansion.

General Overview

The entrance to the Underworld is on Fire Island, on a sandy section of land that appeared following the defeat of the Shadowlords. The dungeon itself is divided into several sections. Some territories are ruled by recent Human arrivals. Some areas can safely be classified as belonging, more or less, to the Goblins. Some areas chiefly exist to hint at things found within and/or provide access to the Stygian Abyss Dungeon.
