Artifact Rarity is an item property that is visible on some artifacts and meant to give players an idea of how rare the item is. Items with rarity 1 are supposed to be common while rarity 12 are extremely scarce.
In practice, the artifact rarity system is not reliable except stealable artifacts since Artifact Rarity 11 items are mostly Major Doom Artifacts which spawn many times per day.
For Stealable Artifacts
For stealable artifacts, each additional point in rarity roughly means that the time it takes to spawn is twice as long. Approximate spawn times for stealable artifacts are:
Artifact Rarity | Spawn Time (+/- 20%) |
---|---|
1 | 1.5 hours |
2 | 3 hours |
3 | 6 hours |
4 | 12 hours |
5 | 1 day |
6 | 2 days |
7 | 4 days |
8 | 8 days |
9 | 16 days |
10 | 32 days |
11 | 64 days |
12 | 128 days |
