: Because it's a very common misspelling. I see it on various forums almost more often than the correct spelling. Without this redirect, if someone comes to UOGuide and types "Reagant" into the Search box, they see a results page with nothing on it. They think we have no page about Reagents, and they move on. Maybe the search results should be looked at and fixed, rather than these redirects existing, because I have no plans to create redirects for "Reegent" or "Regent" or "Reegant," and the Search isn't showing anything like "Maybe you meant Reagents?" like it's probably supposed to.{{Line Break}}--[[User:Cogniac|Cogniac]] 10:05, 7 January 2011 (PST)

Why would we want to redirect a misspelling? --Tancred RedStar 08:03, 7 January 2011 (PST)

Because it's a very common misspelling. I see it on various forums almost more often than the correct spelling. Without this redirect, if someone comes to UOGuide and types "Reagant" into the Search box, they see a results page with nothing on it. They think we have no page about Reagents, and they move on. Maybe the search results should be looked at and fixed, rather than these redirects existing, because I have no plans to create redirects for "Reegent" or "Regent" or "Reegant," and the Search isn't showing anything like "Maybe you meant Reagents?" like it's probably supposed to.
