- I believe that this trick no longer works as intended. I attempted to train up Tinkering and Bowcraft and I noticed I was getting slow gains (90 real skill tinkering brought down to 60's). The types of gains I was getting were consistent with the types of gains you could expect for a 90+ skill.

Will Faction statloss work the same way as, or even stacked with, the Satyr Trick for skill gain?

- It is my understanding that faction stat loss can be used in the same way as the Satyr Trick to increase overall skill gains. However, I do not know if it stacks. Could someone give this a try? --Ceruleus 08:47, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
as far as i know, you cannot gain any skill in faction stat loss
- I can confirm that it does NOT work. You cannot gain in any skill as long as you are suffering from faction statloss --Merion 14:19, 18 November 2009 (UTC)
