Several slots of significant gameplay value now used to have little, non-[[Role Playing|Role Play]] value. The ring and braclet slots have been useable equipment slots for a <i>very</i> long time.  However, it was only with [[Ultima Online:Age of Shadows|Age of Shadows]] where they really meant something. Equipment Slots refers to number and type of items that can be equiped on the body of a player character. There are currently 15 equipment slots, which was not always so. Several slots of significant gameplay value now used to have little, non-Role Play value. The ring and braclet slots have been useable equipment slots for a very long time. However, it was only with Age of Shadows where they really meant something. Hitherto, the only rings and bracelets that meant something were those special, charged items or EA-sanctioned wedding bands.
