Plague Beast Lord

In addition to more normal methods, Plague Beast Lords can be slain by casting the Paralyze spell on them, then using an edged object (scissors or an edged weapon) on them. This cuts them open, and a puzzle opens up. The puzzle is complex and involves cutting open certain organs, while stemming the flow of blood from others; if too much time is taken, or too much blood is allowed to flow, the beast dissolves.

Solving this puzzle gets you a Mutation Core.
