The very first thing you should do if you're having any problem with the KR client is to go through the "Steps That Fix Most Issues" list. Almost every complaint people have about the KR client is improved, if not resolved completely, by these steps. Also, even if they don't fix your issue, they'll probably make KR (and probably most other games on your computer) run better.

Steps That Fix Most Issues

• Update DirectX
• Update your Video Card
  • AMD Video Card Drivers
  • NVidia Video Card Drivers
• If you have an AMD Dual Core processor, get the AMD Dual Core Optimizer.
  • AMD Dual Core Optimizer
• Ensure your computer is free of Virii and Spyware.

Blurry Display Issues

• Zoom out!

Slowness Issues (Lag)

• Zoom in!

Connection Problems
