Spell Damage

Your Evaluating Intelligence is the first thing that comes into play with your spell damage. The formula for how much spell damage your getting from your eval. int. is this: ((EvalInt * 3) / 100) + 1

does the above for eval = a flat # damage added or is it a % added to base damage?

The next factor in your spell damage is your Intelligence. The conversion for this would be 1% spell damage for every 10 intelligence you have, or (INT / 10) and drop the decimals.

The next factor is the Inscription Skill bonus. This bonus only takes effect when you have GM or 100.0 in inscribe on your character. This is a 10% damage bonus for magery spells

Spell Damage Increase is possibly the most important factor, but often the most misunderstood. Spell damage is capped at 15% for PvP, but this 15% only applies to the actual spell damage increase property found on some items. For PvM there is no cap on Spell damage, so pack it on. There is no formula needed for spell damage because it is a true conversion, 10% spell damage means your spell damage is increased 10% and so on.

question is does the 10% add the % from the base damage or the % after all the previous factors are figured in?
