The constant clanging and banging of construction fell silent today. Wondering if an accident had occurred, I hurried towards the Great Horns construction site, where a group of reporters had gathered.

Platforms and tools lay spread before the Tavern, where ladies and lords in all manner of colored clothing were blocking my view of the entranceway. Someone was speaking, their words faint under the incessant buzz of the crowd. Cheers rose and fell as the speech continued on, when abruptly the crowd grew silent in its anticipation… What could it be that held the crowd’s attention so?

Standing on the tips of my toes, I was barely able to see what all the commotion was about. Ever so slowly, a pair of great horns rose into the air, hoisted above the crowd and fastened tightly against the Tavern’s face. T’was the horns of a Stag, the trophy from a hunt, long ago, and the trademark of the Great Horns Tavern of Felucca.

The proud old horns seemed to symbolize the tradition of the Great Horns. The gathering crowd of reporters and citizens of Magincia fell silent as Lord Marseni walked up and down the street, inspecting every block of the building, looking for just one flaw. Finally, he nodded his head approvingly, and the workers let out their own cheer.

The construction of The Great Horns Tavern is finally over. Only time will tell when Lord Hobart’s niece, Kirra Mornai, will officially open its doors to the public.
