Direct Damage refers to a type of magical damage that is unaffected by an opponent's resistances.

Direct Damage Weapons

Quiver of Rage, in addition to other Damage Modifiers, deals 10% Direct Damage.

Direct Damage Spells/Moves

The Ninjitsu move, Death Strike
The Necromancy spell, Pain Spike

Notes

According to Jeremy, it is a bug that Direct Damage currently does not display in the tooltips for the Quiver of Rage.
