The Serpent Pillars allow for sea-bourne travel between Trammel/Felucca and their Lost Lands counterparts. They appear as a giant, cone-shaped obelisks with a huge serpent coiled around them(hence their name) and are found in the oceans of Sosaria. They first appeared with the advent of Ultima Online: The Second Age(aka T2A) expansion in 1998.

To use a Serpent Pillar, sail nearby and utter the magic word to activate it.

To travel from the Trammel/Felucca side to the Lost Lands counterpart, say doracron. To travel in the reverse direction at the pillar, you must say sueacron.

The Serpent Pillar in the Lost Lands are in the ocean directly east or west of the Terathan Keep. The one in Trammel/Felucca is in the ocean far west of Trinsic.

Over the years, the pillars have been infamously turned on and off administratively by Game Masters for contributing to or directly causing shard crashes.
