Gardening System Additions and Fixes
NOTE: Because TC1 does not have a daily maintenance cycle, plants will not grow. We ask that you concentrate your testing on the monsters that drop the new seeds!
- Fixed an issue with the plant gump not displaying potions correctly.
- Fixed a bug with the plant gump incorrectly showing fungus and disease being present in a pot before the seed is planted
The Cocoa Tree
- The Cocoa Tree can be grown from Fragrant seeds, which are carried by all the monsters that drop any of the Peculiar Seeds (see below.)
- It cannot be cross-pollinated
- It gives up to 8 Cocoa Pulp, which is used in two new cooking recipes (see above.)
- It also can produce up to 8 Cocoa Tree Seeds
New Decorative Plants
- There are 15 new decorative plants available, of which the two hedges above are merely examples
- The new plants grow from Peculiar Seeds, which drop a variety of monsters. However, not all of these monsters drop all of the Peculiar Seed types
- The new seeds will drop on 3 bipedal creatures that dwell in the Tokuno Islands, on 1 bug-type creature, on 1 creature found in Despise (among other places), on 1 swamp creature, on 1 karma sensitive creature in Ilshenar, 1 creature that lurks in the Twisted Wealds, an arachnid, a compact-sized creature, an undead and a humanoid spellcaster.
- These plants cannot be cross-pollinated, and do not produce resources at this time
Updates
Update 1
On September 11, 2008, the following was published:
- All shards received a minor fix to correct a bug where Guard Zones had been deactivated in some areas unintentionally. This bug allowed players to place homes in new, formerly disallowed areas as well as hinted at possible areas for future invasion as part of the Warriors of Destiny events. Homes recently placed in those areas were removed, with all their contents, by Game Masters on Monday, September 15, 2008. Players with such homes were advised to preemptively relocate.
