I don't think event items, such as the Acid-Proof Robe, should qualify as artifact items. Yes, they're rare, but:

  • 1) no great power
  • 2) aren't available in-game as a standardized item via normal gameplay.

Entirely up to personal interpretation, this. In my view any named item with specific stats set by the devs is an artifact.

But lately I've been on a re-organisation spree re equipment type items. I'd been planning on putting every item in a "base category" depending on what it is (eg. broadswords, plate helms, leather gloves, etc), and one other category depending on how it's obtained (eg. doom artifacts, tinker crafted, event items, etc).

So, following this rule, I did intend to take all "event" items out of the "artifacts (other)" category.

But in regards to "artifact listings" on pages such as this one, I reckon we should do away with them altogether! They tend not to be maintained, and merely act as a poor substitute to the service categories already provide.

In the case of the robes page, the only ones to my mind that deserve to be "set apart" are the vet rewards... But it just so happens we have a "vet rewards" page that already lists them.
