Note: This Five on Friday's title "01010101 01001111" is binary ASCII for "UO".

If a character is not in a guild and is in Trammel they should be able to see what combat flags (if any) they do have timing out in both 2d and KR/SA clients. Perhaps the buff bar can be adapted to list these?

This is an excellent suggestion, and would be a great usage of the buff/debuff icon bar

Currently spirit speak jewlry does not work. Are there any plans to fix this or is it intentional?

Hmm, pretty sure this is just broken, and not intentional.

On the publish update you guys stated Cloaks of Silence will be available from the EMs, does this mean that we can ask them for one and they give it out or are they going to be given out at em events?

They’re going to be given out as part of an event, so no, please don’t spam the poor EMs for them before their time.

Why did you choose to go with the original UO artwork instead of the KR (Kingdom Reborn) artwork for the new client?

Most players felt that the KR environment art did not capture the true spirit of UO. There were also a large number of problems with this art. The original UO art is great and is guaranteed to provide you with a consistent user experience. Our main focus with the new client was stability and ease of use. Now we haven’t thrown away the KR art. Keep in mind we do use some KR art for certain areas of the game, such as terrain, waterfalls and special effects. We are always investigating ways to continue to enhance the graphical experience of the new client.

Any chances of releasing a new installer? Patching from version 5.x on the 9th Anniversary CD to the current build (especially 6.0.11, which fails for me and I have to do a full uninstall). The SE version offered on FilePlanet is even older!

A new installer for the classic client will become available when we launch the Stygian Abyss expansion. Players will be able to use this installer on both SA and non-SA enabled accounts.
