-Grig'nag and Ditto Armunn

Born to Kor'nag (father) and Va'lok (mother), Grig'nag grew up in the run down dump on the edge of Stormreaver territory near the lich ruins. A decidedly bad place to set up house and home as fate would determine. Evidently the wandering liches didn't take kindly to Orcs sauntering into their domain and walking off with their stuff. So they burned Grig'nag's hovel to the ground, killing his parents and leaving only Grig'nag and his younger half-elf, half-Orc brother (the result of an elf rape, when Grig's mother raped a male elf. Don't bother asking how that worked) Uk'lok. Lugging his baby brother to the protection of the Stormreaver Orc fort, he began the proud early life tradition of stepping out of line and then getting klumped for his insubordination. It was a very important growing period for Grig'nag.

Grig'nag grew into a strong and capable Grunt, surpassing a number of lesser, weaker runts to join the Stormreaver Orcs army and begin his true service to the Bludgod, the Orc god of... everything really, but mostly violence and blood. Go figure. Grig'nag himself, like most Stormreavers was well taken to the worship of the Bludgod in the most direct way the Orcs new. By klumping hummies and elbies, and collecting as many shinies as he could find.

Grig'nag predominantly followed after and mentored other a "Majuka"/Shaman Orc by the name of E'mun and served along side the Orc Ka'roog most commonly. Though Grig'nag had a striking aversion to magic, probably due to the relatively servere burn on his rump he received from a liches fireball and a general superstition about "da majuka", he learned as much as he could from the tweaked and slightly off kilter (even for an Orc) mage. One of the skills Grig'nag developed was the ability to read and write, an extremely rare ability in most Orcs. He was also capable of counting to twenty, though anything beyond that befuddled him. He eventually was raised to the rank of "Runt Bashur" that he teach an upcoming generation of runts the proper way of the Stormreaver. Usually by hitting them very hard and often.

He was one of the strongest Orcs around. And if you suggest otherwise he will come out of the afterlife and kill you. Or just shrug and go back to getting drunk. Hard to tell with Orcs sometimes.

Grig'nag's life outside of the lands of of the Orcs was a paradoxically brutal yet enlightening one. He met and fell in love with two human females, first a woman by the name of Jolicia (whom he carried a friendship and somewhat unrequited love/lust for until his death) and a second woman named Angel who was slain. He befriended a number of humans and then tried to kill them. All in good fun, of course. He ate and learned at a number of human and elf institutions, when not actively trying to burn them down or demand shinies from it occupants.

Yet his most interesting meeting was with a human known as Vaen Swiftar in the Crystal Fens. It was an encounter that would shape Grig'nag's outlook on the world for the rest of his life. Vaen Swiftar was a surpassingly strong warrior in Grig'nag's eyes and if Grig had one bone to pick with the cosmos it was that Vaen had not been born an Orc. A fact Grig openly lamented to the human on many occasions. He was one of the few humans Grig'nag actually viewed as a friend. He was also the one human Grig'nag most desperately sought to kill. The meeting with Vaen Swiftar occurred early in Grig'nag's life and would become Grig's driving purpose in many a battle, often joining up with conflicts on the other side if he learned of Swiftar's involvement. Grig'nag's personal struggle against Vaen would take center stage more than a few times in his life.

Like all Orcs, Grig'nag relished battle and bloodshed. He was involved in countless skirmishes and took part in several massive conflicts, most notably the Second Orcish-Human Yew War and the Battle of Luna alongside the Dark Order. To Grig'nag, death on a battlefield was glorious an the ultimate aim of every Orc was to be irrevocably slain on the field of battle. An honor which earned him or her a place in the Halls of the Bludgod. A lifetime of bloodshed, war and riotous living that lead to a reward where you could fight, eat, drink and sleep forevermore? What suckers all those humans were with their "virtues" or legalistic systems of law and order. And people call Orcs stupid. Riiiiight.

As time passed, many Orcs grew lethargic and fell into hibernation. Others, driven by wanderlust and desire for new wars and conquests, departed the realm. After many years of conflict along side his Orcish brethren, after many runts trained and prepared for war, after many a Dark Moon festival and Kollerins, Grig'nag finally found himself to be the last standing Orc of the Stormreavers in the lands. While a time would show a revival of the Stormreavers in later times, it was not for Grig'nag to see. A disease, not terribly dissimiliar to tuberculosis afflicted him and began to sap him of his strength. A strange disease foreign to the Orcs, quite possibly picked up from a human settlement. He spent many of his twilight days with the human Jolicia as he considered the events of his life. Soon Grig'nag understood that his life was coming to an end.

But he would not let it end this way.

Completing the last of his duties and compiling the closest thing he could to a memoir, Grig'nag collected his equipment, bid his loved ones and those departed (and still visited the graves of) a final "Gar" before departing from Orc lands forever and seeking out his most treasured foe.

At the age of 24 outside the Garden Freehold in Malas, Grig'nag da Mojo was slain by Vaen Swiftar in ritualistic combat.

His soul presently resides in the Halls of the Bludgod.

Appearance

Presently: Probably bones.

In Life: A tall (for an Orc) and extremely heavily built Orc. Not terribly dexterous but very strong, he always wore the ring mail armor classic to the Stormreavers, proudly bearing his blood drenched Raider Sash and Runt Basher Kilt (also soaked with blood, probably mostly of runts) with the Orcish bone helmet sitting firmly upon his shaven skull. His skin tone was pale mix of green and dirt brown and his eyes ranged from dull blood red to a bright firey hue of orange.

He carried 3 weapons strapped to him at all times: a cutlass, a scimitar (good for klumpin' detties) and a battle axe, all of which he kept in surprisingly good repair. His pack hung low on his back, often covering his butt when he couldn't be bothered to adjust it. His two main tusks jutted out for his lower jaw and slightly askant angles with the rest of his mouth filled with several rows of either razor sharp canines/incisors or heavily set molars.

Other Information

-Grig'nag had a severe aversion to magic and would usually target mages first in combat.

-As an addendum to the previous line, if Vaen was present, Grig'nag would target him first unless given orders otherwise.

-Grig'nag was loyal to the Stormreavers and his Orcish brethren without fail. While he enjoyed times amongst humans, he would always side with a fellow Orc in an argument. It is worth noting that Orcish arguments are generally known in the human parlance as "aggravated assault". It also trained him to focus on supporting that clan rather than supporting himself. A tendency that caused his player to play all of his chars to the benefit of his clan/order/nation.

-Grig'nag was deathly afraid of ghosts and spirits, although he would never admit to it. Many a time, however, he would flee in terror from a human settlement due to the appearance of a spirit, often leaving the local humans and elves wondering what was so frightening about being offered a bowl of soup. He wore a ward given to him by a friendly necromancer from the Shadowform Empire named Draven Blackheart. Little did he know, Draven had given him a ward that was actually a charm for attracting spirits and ghosts, the jerkbag.

-While we are talking about Shadowform Empire, the Shadowform Lord Alarin himself once took Grig to Caina and enchanted his skull with a ritual that made it nearly impervious to blunt force trauma. As a result it was nearly impossible to knock Grig'nag out with a blow to the head.

-Grig'nag home brewed bludale, a favored drink of many an Orc Sosoria-wide. It was 25% human blood, 30% sea water, 35% fermented barley (Ale), 10% Elf blood (a rare commodity in those days) and 20% "Other". "Other" consisting of a number of special ingredients that would probably prove fatal to most non-Orcish creatures if the rest of the contents didn't do them in already. Hell, it was probably near fatal to most Orcs. Didn't stop 'em from drinking it though. And yes, that does equal more than 100%. Don't question Orcish genius. They find a way.

-A posthumous psychological analysis determined that Grig'nag was more or less insane by human standards.

Suspected Weaknesses: Pathological fear of ghosts. Shinies. Femmies.
