Stone

A GM Miner may purchase a book from the Stonecrafter NPC in Gargoyle City (Ver Lor Reg), Ilshenar entitled "Mining for Quality Stone". The book costs a little over 10,000 gp's.

Once read by the GM Miner the book is destroyed as it is a one use item. However, learning this new skill does not require any additional skill points nor affect skill cap. The skill allows a GM Miner to also mine for stone. To mine for stone as well as ore the miner must left click his/her pick or shovel and toggle the selection: Mining: Ore and Stone from the menu.

Stone can be mined in all Ore colors. Colors match the same vein of ore being mined (iron, dull copper, shadow iron, copper, bronze, gold, agapite, verite and valorite).

High Quality Granite

Once mined, a GM Carpenter who has read the book (also from Gargoyle City) entitled "Making Valuables with Stonecrafing" may use the stone to make tables, statues, vases, elven forges. A Mallet and Chisel is required to craft with stone. This is also available from the Stonecrafter NPC.
