The results of using 10 lava proof hooks (a total of 500 attempts) with 120 fishing skill:
- 69 Cracked Lava Rock
- 60
Stone Sandals, 
Stone Shoes, 
Stone Boots and 
Stone Thigh Boots (including 4 brown hued ones) - 30 Stone Pavers (including 2 brown hued ones)
- 3 Lava Infused weapons (including a Gargoyles Only weapon)
- 3 Delicate Scales
- 2 Rare Fish
A total of 167 items, which pretty much means that there is a 33% chance to catch something from lava and the rarest thing you can catch is a Lava Infused weapon. Nimuaq 20:35, 15 July 2012 (PDT)
Using an axe on the 69 Cracked Lava Rocks yield:
- 47 Lava Rock
- 6 abyssal hued Lava Rock
- 13 Geode
