Loading and firing cannons

Overview

The use of cannons on ships are introduced with the High Seas booster. Different types of Galleons may mount various numbers of cannon. Cannon may be dismantled and removed from a ship.

Cannons

Crafted

There are two types of cannons that can be crafted by Blacksmiths:

48-Pounder Cannon

  • Unknown cannon.png

48-pounder cannon, havent reported in the game yet

Blundercannon

  • Blunder-cannon.png

Can be purchased from the black market for 25,000 doubloons

Dragon Cannon

  • Dragon-cannon.png

Can be purchased from the black market for 120,000 doubloons.

Ammunition

Cannon ammunition crafted by Blacksmiths

Cannons
Cannonball
Grapeshot

Cannon ammunition is crafted by Blacksmiths. Cannons can only be loaded with one ammunition type at a time. They can be dismantled from the ship.

Placing Cannons

In order to place a cannon on a Ship you need to look for an outlined tile on the either side and bow of your ship (golden bullet for Gargish, square wood for the others). Double click your Light ship cannon deed.png cannon deed and then target the cannon station, and if you are close enough the cannon will be placed.
