The Dread Pirate Hat is a minor artifact that can be found from doing Treasure Maps or by fighting a Leviathan that is brought to the surface with a Fabled Fishing Net. It is an article of clothing, and therefore can be Blessed and dyed.

Comparisons indicate that the only static item properties are:

• Random Combat Skill +10
• Dexterity Bonus 8

While all other properties can change, it appears that there are always four item properties.
