Bane Dragon

Bane Dragon is one of the creatures introduced with the event In the Shadow of Virtue - Rise of the Bane Chosen. Just like Chaos Dragoons rode Swamp Dragons, Bane Chosen Dragon Riders ride these creatures on their war against Ophidians.

Bane Dragon can also be found inside the Stygian Abyss Dungeon. Animal Tamers must have a minimum skill of 107.1 to tame a Bane Dragon and they can bond with one. They should be beaten into subjugation before being tamed. Requires 3 control slots.

Blackrock Stew, the only known thing that they eat, can be prepared by the cooks who have learned the recipe by completing the quest A Dish Best Served Cold. It could also be obtained by completing the Dragon Food quest where 20 Crystalline Blackrocks were needed.

The strength of the Bane Dragon’s poison attack varies depending upon range. In the adjacent tile, the poison can be level 4 or 5, with 1 or 2 tiles separation, poison can be level 3 or 4 and with 3 or 4 tiles separation, poison can be level 2 or 3.
